Day Two-New Friends

Oh my...today has been just insane!! There was so much to do. Every minute was planned out with a constant stream of meetings and activities with absolutely no time for anything else. Getting involved, service, and teaching others are only a few of the topics that were discussed throughout the day. Always on the move to the next event, but there is always time to make some new friends.

I met my next door neighbors (on both sides) yesterday, and they are so adorable. I also met several people that are on my I-team, some boys that Stephanie was hanging out with, and most of the freshmen Political Science majors. Everyone that I have met is really nice.

(Left to right) This is Jen, my neighbor on the right side of me, and Keri. She lives on the left side. Both of these girls are just amazing!!

I'm pretty sure that Keri is my long lost sister or something. We have been hanging out all day and she is just the craziest, most adorable girl that I have ever met!! I just loved getting to know her. We had a couple of people ask us throughout the day if we were related. One guy asked and just to see if we could fool him, we told him we were cousins and he totally believed us! It was a blast!! We are now planning on making Pita bread pizza and fried green tomatoes together...man, I just love this girl!!
This is part of my I-team. The guy holding the sign is Jared, our "guide" of sorts. Of course Keri is making a funny face, and Eric (in the front with the black shirt) looks like he doesn't really know what to think about this girl that he has just met that is taking pictures!! Haha!!

Kammy is so cute!! She is Keri's roommate next door and I'm so happy to know her. During one of our meetings today, in which everyone split up to go to the room that your department is meeting, we ended up being in the School of Language and Letters together. That is where I met all of the other Political Science majors. That was a very funny class just because of an argument that almost broke out over whether Humanities would be a pointless major or not. Haha!! Good times.
And this is me and Keri again. So cute!!

I'm so happy that I've started to make new friends. Everyone is just amazing and I can't wait to get started with classes tomorrow so I can meet even more people!
